After each Wisdom circle, my word to end the meeting is “connection.” We all have similar lived experiences no matter how different are roles may be.

December is a haze, but I do recall not meeting as a circle. We have each agreed to continue the wisdom circle’s moving forward, for me this is an indication of the beauty of the framework and the people. It is rare gift to have the opportunity to connect authentically to a group of like minded humans.

Unfortunately I was traveling extensively for work in December and was unable to join the Wisdom Circle 🙁

Our wisdom circle sputtered the whole course, due to work and life crisis among team members leading to scheduling issues. This reduced the benefits of a regular and committed group space. Work stressors and the constancy of suffering and life’s impermanence was the theme in our group when we met.
We were two members meeting the last times and it was surprising and rewarding to discover how similar our work stressors and human experience at work where the last few months. I think we all shared a theme of struggling to carve out self care spaces for ourselves, for very real reasons, the paradox being that it was in these stressful period we all probably needed the wisdom circles group support the most. We/I need to remember to put on our own oxygen mask first, then focus on others and work.

I was unfortunately unable to attend our final Wisdom Circle gathering. Much appreciation for this group and its insights and care over the course of this training.

I was actually quite sick in December and was unable to attend my last wisdom circle, but I so loved getting to know everyone in my group! We went from total strangers to really quickly being there for each other in a super-strong way. The advice received, at least for me, was super impactful and the care I could feel from the team was one of the best experiences from this course!

Last cycle our team had real scheduling challenges and commitments that prevented us from being able to meet and hold our Wisdom Circle. What I noticed this cycle was a renewed, unspoken vigor. It was almost as though we were silently aware of missing this experience last cycle and quickly found and organized a time for this Wisdom Circle, which took place well before the final two large sessions. We circled early. I’ve noticed a genuine warmth and affinity come over our group. We seem able to come together, share personal and sometimes difficult private realities to find a new way forward and to support each other. We’ve vowed to continue this practice after December, and I look forward to it!
